Interlingual Language Services is proud to announce that we have been officially recognised as a NAATI-Endorsed Language Service Provider. For a team that has supported communication across cultures for more than 17 years, this endorsement is a meaningful milestone and a reflection of the standards our clients and communities have trusted us to uphold since 2009.
NAATI — the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters — is Australia’s national standards and certifying authority for the translating and interpreting profession. In 2026, with the backing of Australian, state and territory governments, NAATI introduced the Language Service Provider (LSP) Endorsement Model. It gives government agencies, businesses and community organisations an added layer of assurance when choosing who to trust with their language services.
To become endorsed, a provider must meet strict requirements: engaging NAATI-certified practitioners wherever possible and prioritising the highest level of certification, adopting NAATI’s LSP Code of Conduct, maintaining sound cyber-security and privacy practices, operating robust quality-assurance and feedback processes, and reporting regularly to NAATI. In short, endorsement is independent confirmation that an organisation delivers language services to a recognised national standard.
Language is never just about words. For someone attending a medical appointment, navigating the legal system, applying for a visa or accessing government support, accurate and culturally sensitive communication can change everything. Endorsement means our clients — from federal and state government departments to hospitals, courts, universities and community organisations — can have even greater confidence that their communication is in safe, qualified and accountable hands.
It also reinforces something we care about deeply: access and equity for Australia’s culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Every person deserves to understand and to be understood, whatever language they speak. NAATI endorsement strengthens our ability to help make that a reality in more than 190 languages, right across Australia.
