Our Story
Interlingual began in 2009 with a simple purpose: to help people communicate across language barriers. The early work was practical and personal. A document that needed translating. A meeting that needed an interpreter. A family or a business that needed to be understood.
That purpose has not changed, but the scale has. Today Interlingual supports organisations throughout Australia across government, business and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Projects range from a single translation or interpreter booking to national multilingual programs, complex translation projects, multilingual stakeholder engagement, conferences with simultaneous interpreting, and the interpreting equipment and technical delivery those events depend on.
Whatever the size of the job, the aim is the same: clear communication across languages, so that people can understand, take part and act on what matters to them.

NAATI, the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, introduced its Language Service Provider Endorsement Model in February 2026. It extends NAATI’s role beyond certifying individual translators and interpreters to recognising the organisations that engage them. Interlingual obtained endorsement in 2026, an important milestone in the company’s development.
Endorsement is not simply a badge. It reflects the processes and standards behind the work: how practitioners are selected and inducted, how quality and feedback are managed, how client information is protected, and how the organisation is held to account.
Endorsement is voluntary and reviewed by NAATI on an ongoing basis. It is not a guarantee attached to any single translation or interpreting assignment. What it provides is independent confirmation that the processes and standards behind our work meet a recognised industry framework.
Who We Help

We help Australian organisations communicate with customers, employees, stakeholders, communities and international partners.
